No. 8 Bison fall in minor upset to No. 12 Azusa Pacific

Oklahoma Baptist suffered its first loss of the season as 12th-ranked Azusa Pacific took a home win over the No. 8 Bison, 2-1 Saturday.

Victor Costa scored his third goal in two matches with an assist from Andre Costa in the 21st minute for a 1-0 Bison lead.

Azusa countered with a goal by Henry Ortlip with 6:48 left in the first half for a 1-1 tie at intermission.

Garcia-Partida scored the game-winner for the Cougars after stealing the ball and scoring on the right side.

Now 1-1, the Bison host Southwestern Christian Friday at 4 p.m.
